Precious pictures of Peng Jiamu unveiled

A series of precious pictures of Peng Jiamu, a noted Chinese topographer
and vice president of the Xinjiang Branch of the Chinese Academy of
Sciences, were unveiled for the first time on May 10, 2007. Peng was
mysteriously missing while leading an expedition to Lop Nur on June 17,
1980. The pictures show Peng led his first expedition to Lop Nur. The
pictures were found in a farmer's home in Zhengzhou, central China's
Henan Province.
