More than 50 wives of Taiwan businessmen in Shanghai were wrapping Zongzi
(glutinous rice wrapped in a pyramid shape with bamboo or reed leaves) on
June 6, 2007. They planned to finish ten thousand ones for sale to
collect money for the forthcoming 2007 Paralympics in Shanghai. Zongzi is
a traditional Chinese food usually eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival.
The festival is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth Chinese lunar
month. It will fall on June 19 this year.
