"Casablanca" to open

Performers of the play "Casablanca" rehearsed for the first time at the
Great Hall of the People on the evening of April 6th. The most
influential play of the third Beijing International Theater Season will
be staged from April 8th to the 12th in the Great Hall of the People.
This famous drama was turned into a play by Time Warner in 2004. The
company produced the film sixty years ago. After its debut in Beijing and
Shanghai, the show will make a tour of the U.S., Europe, Japan and some
Pacific cities. During its global tour, the group plans to choose a city
for a long-term engagement.
